It's not true that Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers are dead! Take a look at the picture. Sure Fred is a little heavier these days and Ginger is actually grey, but the they are definitely alive and well.
Last Friday night, Glen Norton one of my golfing buddies, and his family arranged a dinner dance for us at our golf club called Glacier Greens Golf Club. His family had many anniversaries to celebrate as well as birthdays immediately past and in the near future. They thought it would be a good idea to get their family together and celebrate all the great days all at once. The family also invited Glen's golfing pals so that's how we got to go. It was a great evening. We had a cold buffet supper and drinks, then Glen had put together some of his favourite music on discs and he played D.J. all evening. He did a fine job too.
It was a wonderful get-together, something I think would be great for our family to do sometime in the near future.
