On Friday June 29
th. Cynthia and I invited Tim, Andi, Charlotte, Ben and
Josée to dinner to celebrate the end of school for them and the beginning of the school holidays. It is also the Canada Day long weekend, so we had two causes to
celebrate. Ben and Josée were a little late in joining us for the meal as they had to meet a farmer to see if he wanted to cut the hay which is now growing rapidly on their new Knight Road property in
Comox. They
arrived after we'd eaten, so while they had their meal, Tim, Charlotte and I decided to hit the hot tub and have some play time with the toys. You can see that Tim was obviously enjoying himself with them. I wonder if Charlotte ever got a chance to get a turn! The whole evening went well, for after the meal,
Cynthia and I were also able to go for a walk with Ben,
Josée and
Tegan the dog. It was a good time together with all of them.
