Pinky Not Porky

Today Tim had his hair dyed a shocking pink. I picked him up from the hairdresser where he and friend Kyle both had their hair done in response to an activity at the school where they work. Today was an anti-bullying day across Canada. People were asked to wear pink to show they were against bullying in any form at schools, in the workplace, anywhere. Tim and Kyle had stated they would both dye their hair a shocking pink if 300 or more of the students in their school would wear pink. Guess what....??

It was interesting to see the reaction of Tim's little boy Oliver who is 16 months old and has never seen Dad without his beard and dark hair. Oliver stood stock still for about 3 minutes when he saw Tim. Once he'd made his mind up this was really Dad, he went over and gave Tim a hug, but it took a few moments.

Now, for at least a little while Tim can really say he's in the pink before he buzzes it off and gets back to being good old Dad with the dark hair.

Love to all who read this post.
