A Heart-Warming Story
During the past week, one of our local papers, The Record brought out an article which featured an account of Tim's pre and post transplant experiences. Tim, Andi, Oliver and Charlotte were interviewed by Lindsay Chung, one of the reporters for the paper. The article was one of a number of articles written in local papers in the province. The articles were to celebrate the 20th year of the British Columbia Transplant Society's first transplant surgery. You can read the full article by clicking on the following hilighted link below. (Hopefully for as long as the article remains in the paper's archives)

Jan. 01-2009 Rock Band Gang
Last night, Ben and Tim invited some friends to come over to our house, that's right our house, to use the wide screen t.v. for a Rock Band stint. Mind you, Ben had asked first. Wayne, the owner of the set, soon had it hooked up and the place was rocking. As you can see from the pictures, Josée and Lena did a great job on the guitars, while Wayne and Jason were outstanding on drums. Ben, Tim and Doug provided good vocals. Even Cynthia and I got in on the acts, and everyone had a try at all they wanted to do. It was the first time I'd seen this marvellous electronic 'toy' from X-Box. We all had a fine time indeed.
